Each member of this amazing team began their journey at GS Brown Construction as school leavers receiving their apprenticeships and has been with us ever since. From conducting site investigations to managing design processes, they all play a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for every project. Whether it’s ensuring proper drainage, optimising earthworks, or coordinating utility installation, their expertise ensures that every development meets the highest standards of quality.
Some of the key roles and responsibilities carried out by our Civil Engineering Team include;
- Topographical Surveys
Thorough topographical surveys are carried out by the team, where sloped levels and ground contours are picked up, laying the foundation for site design to be done with precision and accuracy. - Earthworks Design and Management
Leveraging their expertise over the years, the team will carry out the process of modelling sites so that earth moving is commercially viable. - Utilities Design and Management
From roads to utilities such as street lighting to other services like water, gas, electricity, BT and Virgin Media, the team oversees the utility design and management processes, guaranteeing seamless integration of essential amenities into each development. - Site Investigation
Long before construction commences, the team also conducts thorough site investigations to help gain a better understanding of ground conditions and confirm soil types. This process is critical in building a structurally sound development that meets our standards.
