It is a picturesque riverine town situated alongside the river Ericht. Nestled amongst the foothills of the Grampians on the Strathmore Valley, it is at the heart of the Scottish great outdoors. Blairgowrie is the gateway to alpine adventures at Glenshee. Glenisla is only 10 miles away. This historic market town is on the circular route once taken by the fearsome caterans.

It is another historic market town with quintessential Perthshire characters. Situated 18 miles west of Perth, both Perth and Stirling are 30 minutes away. Edinburgh and Glasgow are only 1.5 hours away. Crieff used to be a famous marketplace for Highland cattle for several centuries. A walking festival celebrates those pioneering drovers every year.
